HOURS
Office hours are 9:00 AM
to approx. 5:00 PM GMT, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Our
telephone answering machines record enquiries
outside of office hours. Any messages will
be attended to as soon as our return to
the office. Telephone numbers of our owners/caretakers
are provided for visitors on holiday on their travel/key
details.
CUSTOMER
CHARTER
All our properties have
been personally inspected by Northumbria Coast and Country Cottages, and our
staff are trained to give a high level of customer service.
Questionnaires
sent to you for completion after your holiday
are all carefully analysed and important points
acted upon immediately.
PETS
Pets
are welcome in several of our properties but are
only accepted under the strict understanding that
they are kept under control, exercised off the
premises, and are not permitted in the bedrooms
or on furniture. Under no circumstances should
they be left unattended in the properties. N.B. No puppies allowed.
On
departure it is appreciated that all pet
hairs are removed (please see clause 13 of our
Booking
Conditions). There is a charge of £10.00
per pet per week. Two dogs are allowed unless
otherwise stated. Any extra dogs should
be on request to ourselves. (A few properties
charge more - see individual details).
LINEN
Please
bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea-towels
and table linen unless otherwise stated in the
particulars. Duvet covers where applicable.
Where
bed linen is supplied this excludes towels
unless otherwise stated. Bedding is provided
ie duvets and/or blankets and pillows.
COTS
Where cots are provided,
these are free of charge, but you should bring your own bedding and linen.
Cots are only available for children 2 years and under. If
you are bringing your own cot or travel cot,
please indicate this on the Booking Form
CLEANING
The
properties are thoroughly cleaned between lets.
However, owing to the very limited period between
tenancies, it is greatly appreciated if they could
be left as clean and tidy as possible (See Booking
Conditions No. 8).
The
Owner reserves the right to charge for any
unreasonable extra cleaning on departure
or at a later date. At some properties a returnable
Damage/Cleaning Deposit
is required
by the Owner. Details will be on your final
confirmation letter.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
Bookings
are from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise
stated in the brochure, some properties commence
on a Friday, and a few on a Sunday. Tenancies
commence between 2pm and 4pm on the
day of
arrival (exact
times
are stated on your final booking confirmation),
and terminate at 10am on the day of departure.
Arrangements
can be made for late arrivals. Any damage must
be reported and paid for to the Owner/caretaker
or our Company before departure.
OFF
SEASON SHORT BREAKS
Many of the cottages
are suitable for these popular breaks with cosy log fires and full Central
Heating. Please call us and we will be happy
to recommend appropriate accommodation for you.
Special
rates apply often on a per person ratio with
flexible start dates.
LEFT
ARTICLES
We
are happy to return any item you may have left
behind. However, please note - There is a minimum
charge of £20.00 for this service.
